Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Yakty and the Premium subscription. By installing the app or subscribing, you agree to them.
Who we are

What Yakty is
Yakty is an app for self-discovery and daily habits: self-report tests, check-ins, a daily plan, a journal and reports. It is not a medical device or a psychologist’s service: results are not a diagnosis and tips are not treatment.
If things are very hard or there is a risk to life, contact emergency or support services — “I feel bad” in the app lists support lines for your country.
Age
Yakty is intended for people aged 18 and over.
What is free
Tests and basic results, the Portrait, check-ins, the daily plan, the journal, the current week’s report, data export and deletion are free. “I feel bad”, safe mode and support lines are always free and never behind the subscription.
Premium subscription
Premium unlocks extra features, listed on the Premium screen before you pay. The subscription is monthly or yearly; Google Play shows the price in your currency before you confirm the purchase.
Payment, taxes and receipts go through Google Play under its terms. The subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it. You can cancel any time in Google Play (“Settings → Premium → Manage subscription”); access continues until the end of the paid period.
A free trial (when offered) is only for people who have not had this subscription before. If you do not cancel before it ends, the paid period starts and Google Play charges you.
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies. Google Play will notify you of a price change in advance; for an existing subscription the new price applies only as Google Play rules allow.
Gift codes
A Premium code works until the date shown on activation, with no card and no charges. It is meant for the person it was sent to, cannot be exchanged for money, and a code that is made public may be revoked in a later update.
Your data
Your answers and entries are stored on your phone only. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not try to bypass subscription or code checks, or modify and redistribute the app or its content. The tips, tests and design belong to Yakty or are used under licence — see “Licenses”.
Liability
We work to keep Yakty stable and its texts accurate, but provide the app “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of test results or tips. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer protection law in your country gives you.
Changes to these terms
The update date is at the top of the page. We will announce material changes affecting the subscription in the app in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel the subscription and delete the app.
