How to delete your data
Yakty (an Android app by Kostiantyn Slobodiuk) works without an account: answers, results, check-ins and journal entries are stored encrypted on your phone only. So they are deleted on the phone too — in one step, with no emails and no waiting.
Delete everything in the app
1. Open Yakty → the “Portrait” tab → the settings icon (the gear at the top right).
2. Scroll down and tap “Delete all data”.
3. Confirm. The app erases the database, the encryption key and the settings, resets the Analytics identifier and deletes unsent crash reports. After that Yakty starts from a clean slate.
Want a copy first? Use “Settings → Export my data”.
Or just uninstall the app
Uninstalling Yakty erases all of its data. Android backup is turned off for Yakty, so there is no copy in Google's cloud and nothing moves to a new phone.
What is deleted and what is not
Deleted immediately and permanently: test answers and results, check-ins and tags, the daily plan and marks, evening answers, journal entries, settings. Neither we nor you can restore them.
De-identified statistics and crash reports that were already sent to Google Firebase (only if “Anonymous statistics” was on) are not linked to you — we cannot pick out yours among them. They are deleted automatically: Analytics events after 14 months, Crashlytics reports after 90 days. To stop sending anything — “Settings → Privacy → Anonymous statistics”.
